Slow Cooker Apple Steel Cut Oats

So I’m not going to lie. I found this recipe from Five Heart Home. I’ve modified it very slightly, removing apple juice and syrup and adding brown sugar. Also doubling it as I enjoy making this for a community breakfast when camping.

One other change from the original recipe. No need to use two dishes. Just grease the slow cooker with butter and make sure you have the right amount of liquid. Good to go.

Let me know in the comments changes that you make!
